Documents required for Maid visa in Dubai

1. Completed application form provided by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs
2. Copy of passports of employer and their spouse
3. Copy of attested marriage certificate
4. Attested copy of resident’s Ejari or the lease agreement
5. Emirates ID
6. Bank statement from the past 3-6 months
7. Labour contract from the sponsor’s employer
8. Salary certificate from the sponsor’s employer
9. Copy of residence visa
10. Copy of maid’s passport
11. Three photographs of the maid
12. No object certificate from the maid’s country of residence

How to apply for a maid visa in Dubai

1. Submit the application at GDRFAD- Here you will submit all the documents required and pay the processing fees. They will evaluate all the papers and issue an entry permit for the maid. The maid can travel to UAE with the entry permit but should complete the medical tests and get their biometrics registered within 30 days of arrival.

2. Get the necessary medical tests and medical insurance- The maid should take test for diseases like HIV, TB, leprosy etc. Also, they should have the mandatory vaccine shots. Have the vaccine documentation ready when applying for maid visa. The health insurance should cover all the medical expenses of the maid.

3. Once all the documents, medial test and health insurance are obtained you can complete the maid visa application. You can take an e-token from the website and physically report at the office preferably along with the maid. The officer will check the labour contract and check all the criteria has been met.
